Our mission at Promise is to deliberately disciple seekers into fully devoted followers of Christ under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Reflecting on this mission statement, Promise is more interested in developing your relationship with Christ than your becoming a member of our church, but we do believe that membership is an important of the journey.

Becoming a member at Promise is a process not an event. It is a culmination of a series of important steps that begin with meeting with the pastor or and elder and going through a Five Marks class. But becoming a member is not an end in itself, any more than finally being hired means your work is complete. As reflected in our mission statement, we are deliberate in our purpose. We do not want to leave anything to chance, but relying on the Holy Spirit to guide us, we want to use our gifts and resources to help you affirm both where you are spiritually and where you may need to grow. Membership is a step in discipleship. It is a milestone on the lifelong journey of being a fully devoted follower of Christ.

To begin the membership process, please contact the pastor, an elder or the church office. Whether you have a strong church background or none at all, we encourage you to walk through this process of membership with us. We think you will enjoy the journey.
